Landscapes in the Rocky Mountains in western Canada

We will begin the chronicle of the day saying Awesome!

The Rocky Mountains they are a boast of beautiful excesses: great mountain ranges, some rocky, ridges, lakes, bears, reindeer, corners of paradise, beaches in the lakes, snow, sun ...

As well endless forests The size of half Europe, with trees of all kinds, emerging on any ledge, rivers of all sizes, slopes and shades of blue, glaciers, divine excesses, changing landscapes.

It is true that yes good, brief, twice good, as someone said, but it's not true here. The good is huge, immense, unattainable.

All Rocky Mountain photos that I can show you, they don't get the air, the smells, the feelings and the sensations, the flavors and the senses. Can not be. Bruce sounded in the car !!! Sorrows inside !!! To stay !!

On this day of nature, during the new day of coast to coast travel through the United States and Canada, we stop at Sicamous, where we strolled along the paths that difcruriated by the lake. We also saw the beach, with harbor and boats. All beautiful.

We stop too Revelstoke, where there was a street market; We went to the bank to get Canadian dollars; we admire the mountains that surrounded the town; and we witness a lumberjack championship to cut logs. We also had coffee.

Following the road, which warned us that in 150 kilometers there would be no gas stations, we crossed the Mt Revelstoke National Park which advertised various mountain attractions. We also cross an area that was called Glacier National Park.

We stopped to eat in a fairly small town called Golden, where we sat on the terrace of a wooden bar that overlooked a river, with its rapids facing a new wooden bridge as well. We ate fabulous, with the sun on our face, and the water of the river relaxing our sight and ears.

We continue our way to Calgary crossing two other national parks, the Yoho National Park and the Banff National Park, both with many indications of places and activities to do in the area.

We also stop at the population of Banff, where there were many shops, hotels, and seemed to be a center of mountain excursions. We walked, visited stores and saw an important hotel infrastructure.

We could also attend some folk dances in the street that some native Indians from the area represented in a park in the center of the town.

Fantastic sun all day, clear day, blue, clean.

At about 8:00 p.m. we arrived at our hotel in Calgary, capital of the state of Alberta.
